The Ministry of Health of Sierra Leone will host a side-event, with Child Survival Action (CSA) and Every Woman Every Newborn Everywhere, on 23rd July 2025 in Maputo, Mozambique, on the sidelines of the Innovation and Action for Immunization and Child Survival Forum. CSA, together with EWENE, advocates for a life course approach for maternal, newborn and child survival by prioritizing high impact interventions for each critical life stage.

This event will bring together delegations from 12 African countries and development partners to celebrate commitments and progress made, foster alignment among partners around country priorities, and call on governments, partners and donors to double down on reducing child mortality on the African continent.
