Progress to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality and stillbirths is only possible when it is measurable. This pre-IMNHC session bridges the gap between the ambitious global targets and the frontline reality of health systems. It will focus on the urgent need to strengthen routine health information systems and use of maternal and newborn (MNH) data to accelerate progress towards equitable access to quality care.

As part of their MNH acceleration plans, EWENE countries have prioritized the improvement of the routine collection and use of MNH data.  Moving beyond theory, the session focuses on the practical tools and enabling environment required to turn data into action.
